Most animals in the Artic are withe. This serves as camouflage in the snow.

THE POLAR BEAR
Polar bears are the biggest bears in the world, between 300 and 650 kilos. In the summer they eat plants and on winter they eat artic hares, harp seals and artic foxeses. They live for about 25 years. 

THE ARTIC HARE
They live in the groups of 100 to 300 artic hares eat mosses, lichens leaves, seaweed bark and rots.

THE HARP SEAL
Harp seals are marine mammals. Baby harp seals have a white coat for 10 to 14 days. They live for about 30 years.

CARIBOU
There are 2,4 millions caribou in Canada. They eat plants. Males and females grow new ant lears every year.

THE ARTIC FOX
Artic fox eat hares, caribou birds and eggs.Ther enemies are polar bears and man who hunts them for for their coats. The warmest coats of any mammal.

THE SNOWY OWL
Snow owl live in Canada. They survive in temperatures os -50ºC. When the baby owls are born buth parents look after them.
